Mountain Dew Energy is one of many Mountain Dew energy drink lineups.Orange Breeze continued to be produced regionally while Peach Mango Dawn and Tropical Sunrise disappeared. As a result of this, Tropical Sunrise, Peach Mango Dawn, and Orange Breeze would be discontinued. On December 15th, 2022, it was confirmed by a trusted source on the r/MountainDew Reddit that its lineup would be shrinking to three core flavors, and the other three core flavors would get discontinued. A few months later, in November, PepsiCo dropped the Rise branding and as a result, the product line was renamed to Mountain Dew Energy in November of that year. In June 2021, the RISE Brewing Company (a coffee company) that produces canned coffee and tea beverages under the label "Rise" sued PepsiCo for trademark infringement. The flavors here are as follows: Pomegranate Blue Burst, Strawberry Melon Spark, Berry Blitz, Tropical Sunrise, Peach Mango Dawn, and Orange Breeze. Happy Dew Year is one of many Mountain Dew flavors to be planned for a release, known to a general audience before being canceled entirely. On July 17th, 2023, PepsiCo filed a trademark for a Peach flavored Mountain Dew flavor called: "MTN DEW PEACH MADNESS." In a recent Instagram post, there's some speculation that Peach Madness could potentially be Happy Dew Year revived, but there is no confirmation currently. On December 12th, 2019, in a r/MountainDew Reddit post, it was confirmed by a PepsiCo employee that Happy Dew Year has officially been canceled. No additional information was heard from PepsiCo employees, and it was not able to be found anywhere else in PepsiCo warehouses or stores early on its release. In Early-December 2019, some people became skeptical of Happy Dew Year. On August 26th, 2019, it was confirmed that Happy Dew Year would be releasing on December 16th, only in 20-ounce bottles. This was its last glimpse before being canceled. In Early-August 2019, it was confirmed that Happy Dew Year would be participating in the PepCoin promotion, and the drink was able to be seen on PepCoin's website for a few months before being removed. On April 8th, 2019, the 20-ounce design was revealed alongside Merry Mash-Up and VooDEW (2019) albeit in low picture quality as well as Happy Dew Year's target release date to be December 16th, 2019, by the same PepsiCo employee. A week later, on April 2nd, Happy Dew Year had an alternative name: "Dew Year's Resolution." On March 26th, 2019, Happy Dew Year was first leaked on the Dew Drinker Discord server by a PepsiCo employee, which jokingly confirmed that Happy Dew Year was a Champagne flavor. Since the 20-ounce design was in bad picture quality, a majority of fans depicted/deciphered it as a " DEW with a Pinch of Peach." History Happy Dew Year would have been a Peach flavor of Mountain Dew and had an orange look, having a comparable tasting flavor and color to that of earlier released Sweet Lightning of the same year.
